Carna is a super rare + special pot. One of the finest examples of naturally age-worn patina + with the quirk of it's hand-thrown lean. A wonderful pot to stand alone or be paired against another.
Please note if your preference is for this pot to stand completely upright, felt pads will be required to the underside to compensate for the natural lean. All photographs have been taken with the full base sat on the floor.

Antique Olive Pot Collection

Repurposed as large decorative statement pieces for the home + ornamental sculptures for the garden, Kiln’s collection of large Turkish olive pots + jars were used traditionally to store olive oil + preserves as early as the 19th Century. Each is individually selected for its authentic hand thrown charm + patina capturing years of desirable ageing.

Care

Take special care to simply clean with a damp cloth. For pots with a whitewash finish clean only with a dry cloth.

Terracotta is a porous material, pots are recommended as display only for dried, preserved + faux foliage. Use with a flexible pot liner to allow for fresh flowers in water.

For outdoor use pots must be protected from frost. We advise creating a drainage hole, many of our pots will have one. If used as a planter we recommend using a plastic pot liner within to allow for expansion of frozen soil + water.
